Green Plan Room project is major step toward green paperless office procedures in architectural, engineering and construction industry. Our goal is to change office documents from paper to electronic. Especially architectural and engineering drawings could be and should be used in electronic on screen form as oppose to paper or better known blueprint form.

Green Plan Room website with cooperation of major architectural firms will make drawings of current construction projects available to view, download and use on computer screen. We will provide drawings in DWF format that is electronic copy of original DWG document, that protects designers property. DWF drawing format is supported by free Autodesk Design Review software created by Autodesk Company that also developed AutoCAD.

Autodesk Design Review program allows end users to work on screen with electronic drawings. DWF format is a vector electronic drawing document that is more suitable for on screen use than commonly used PDF, TIF or JPG formats. It allows you to work with drawings right on your computer screen without printing or plotting. You can scale, measure, tape measure, mark-up, make notes and so on. By avoiding printing we can save tons of paper and energy used for blueprints pick-ups, deliveries, shipping and handling.

The choice is yours to go electronic-green or stay with paper documents and waste paper, kill trees and valuable energy.

Green Plan Room makes electronic drawings and specification documents available to anyone who wants to go green and save our environment. At the same time we encourage all architectural and engineering documents users to go green and use technology that is widely available and accessible.
